NEW CASTLE


•Accident. Police said Kevin Lee Dure, 28, of 615 1018 Adams St., struck a trash bin that had been on the north side of Cumberland Avenue near Crawford Avenue at 6:45 p.m. Wednesday. Dure told police the sun was in his eyes and he could not see the bin. Police said as a result of the crash, the trash container was turned sideways and blocked the street. No injuries were reported.

•Burglary. A 10-speed red and white bicycle, an Xbox, two controllers and 15 games, 100 DVDs and various prescription medication were stolen from a house in the 1000 block of Pollock Avenue between 10 p.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.

•Tim W. Baker, 22, of New Castle, charged by CSX Transport police with disorderly conduct.

New Castle police charged the following people:

•Cassie Marie Lutz, 18, of New Castle, retail theft.

•Catrina C. McDowell, 48, of New Castle, eight counts of use/possession of drug paraphernalia and four counts of intent to possess a controlled substance.

•Michael Charles Fuge, 21, of New Castle, intent to possess a controlled substance.

•Jennie V. Zarella, 87, of New Castle, accident involving damage to an attended vehicle or property.

•Charles Michael Pezzulo, 55 of Hillsville, charged by the Lawrence County district attorney with bad checks.

•Jennifer Ann Miller, 46, of Volant, charged by state police with harassment.

Scott A. McGrath

•Charles C. Lewis, 35, of New Bedford, charged by New Wilmington police with disorderly conduct.

Neshannock Township police charged the following people:

•Vanesssa Lynn Blumling, 18, of New Castle, disorderly house.

•Ryan Daily, 22, of New Castle, disorderly house.
