Dogs find no drugs at Union High School

NEW CASTLE — Four dogs searched  Union High School for drugs yesterday but none were found.

Union Township police said K-9 officers from Mahoning Shenango and New Castle police departments were called to the high school and middle school at 2106 Camden Ave. at 9:30 a.m. yesterday upon receiving complaints of suspicious activity.

The dogs sniffed two vehicles and several lockers inside the school, looking for narcotics, police said.
