Man accused of robbing woman

NEW CASTLE — A New Castle man is wanted by police for allegedly robbing a woman at gunpoint when she gave him a ride.

Police said the 34-year-old woman went to the station to report the incident, which she said occurred around 8 p.m. Oct. 4. She told them Mark Lee Moore Jr., 23, of 1113 Booker Drive, to whom she had given rides for years, stole money from her.

She said he had called her around 7:30 p.m. for a ride and she went to Harbor Heights to pick him up. He got into the car with a gun in his lap and told her to give him the money, she told police.

Police have charged Moore with robbery, terroristic threats, receiving stolen property, theft, recklessly endangering another person and harassment.

District Judge Jennifer L. Nicholson has issued a warrant for his arrest.

Have you held or will you hold a garage/yard sale this year?

I have and it was a success! It's a great way to get rid of some junk and make a little extra pocket money.
I have, but it didn't go over so well. Better luck next time?
I haven't yet, but I plan to.
I haven't and I don't plan to. It's not for me.
