Man reports East Washington Street break-in

NEW CASTLE — Police believe a man who broke into an East Washington Street home Wednesday may have been involved in mail theft.

A resident of the 800 block called New Castle police after he heard someone kicking in his door around 12:30 a.m. while he was upstairs.  He said he looked downstairs to see a man with a black hoodie inside his house. The man ran out and the resident chased him onto Ray Street.

Police said they had just arrested three men in black hoodies in that area who reportedly stole a package from Dushane Street. However, the resident was unable to identify any of them as the intruder at his house, police said.

Have you held or will you hold a garage/yard sale this year?

I have and it was a success! It's a great way to get rid of some junk and make a little extra pocket money.
I have, but it didn't go over so well. Better luck next time?
I haven't yet, but I plan to.
I haven't and I don't plan to. It's not for me.
