NEW CASTLE — A South Side man is wanted for allegedly firing several gunshots into the air during a domestic dispute.

New Castle police said Justin Antwan Comedy, 22, of 513 Electric St. faces one count each of possession of a firearm, carrying a firearm without a license, terroristic threats, endangering the welfare of children and recklessly endangering another person.

A woman told police Comedy was holding a child while in an argument with her around 1:20 p.m. Tuesday on Long Avenue near Belmont Street. She said he put the child down, pulled a gun out of his pocket and shot four to six times in the air.

A gold sport utility vehicle then pulled up and he got into the back seat and it left, the woman told officers.

Police said they could not find any shell casings in the area.

A warrant has been issued for Comedy’s arrest.
