Police said the boy was westbound on Beaver Street about 5 p.m. Thursday when he entered the intersection with Eighth Street, pulling in front of the car of Joe DeTullio, 70, of 910 Crescent Ave. Officers said DeTullio, who had the right-of-way, had been northbound on Eighth Street.

The youth was taken by ambulance to Ellwood City Hospital. Police have not released his name and his condition is unknown.

Police are still investigating the incident, but said it is unlikely that charges will be filed.

Have you held or will you hold a garage/yard sale this year?

I have and it was a success! It's a great way to get rid of some junk and make a little extra pocket money.
I have, but it didn't go over so well. Better luck next time?
I haven't yet, but I plan to.
I haven't and I don't plan to. It's not for me.
