Rescue teams search lake for missing woman

NEW CASTLE — Police and water rescue teams this morning resumed searching for a woman last seen Tuesday night when her boat capsized.

Pennsylvania state police said Nancy Ellen List, 26, of 6074 Old Route 422 Extension, was fishing with her husband, Michael List, 29, in a private lake in the woods off Countyline Road, Scott Township, yesterday when their small aluminum boat capsized about 8 p.m.

Police said the couple tried to hold onto the boat and swim with it to shore, but Nancy List went under.

Michael List told officers he could not find her and went to a residence to summon help.

Police, helicopters, fire departments and emergency divers searched the area until about 12:30 a.m. when the search was called off due to poor visibility.

Scott Township fire chief Jack Hitchen said water rescue teams and divers resumed the search this morning and sonar scans are being done of the lake.

On Wednesday, the House of Representatives voted to authorize Speaker John Boehner to sue President Obama for allegedly overstepping his legal authority with the way he's handled Obamacare. Good call?

Yes. Obama's been overstepping his authority since day one in office. It's time he pay the piper.
No. The allegations are ridiculous and the law suit is a waste of time and tax payer money.
I don't know. I'm not a huge fan of Obama, but the suit seems a little extreme.
