Man injured in truck crash

NEW CASTLE — A New Castle man was injured in a one-vehicle crash Tuesday evening in North Beaver Township.

Thomas J. Via, 43, was reported in satisfactory condition yesterday at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Ohio.

State police said Via was traveling east on Route 317 in a pickup truck around 6 p.m. when he misjudged a left turn. The truck struck a snow bank, a utility pole and rolled over.

Police charged him with careless driving.

Yes. Expanding the scope of where people can carry guns can help halt violent crimes and make those places safer.
No. Carrying guns into bars and schools is NEVER a good idea. I think it will lead to more violence.
