Rig driver sustains minor injuries in crash

NEW CASTLE — Injuries were described as minor to an Ohio man involved in a truck rollover accident.

State police said William D. White, 23, of Atwater, Ohio, was traveling east on Route 224 in Mahoning Township at 3:30 p.m. Saturday when his tractor-trailer struck a bridge. The trailer, which was carrying a Gehl Hauler, flipped onto its side over an embankment.

Major damage was reported to the rig.
