•Theft. Someone took 50 bales of hay from a farm on Cotton School Road over the past week.


•Burglary. Someone broke into a house in the 600 block of East Reynolds Street and stole about 250 feet of copper pipe. The incident was reported Wednesday.

•Theft. A blue 2009 Honda Odyssey mini-van was stolen from a parking lot downtown around 10 a.m. Thursday. The owner told police she went into a store and left her van running and returned less than 15 minutes later and it was gone. An officer said he found the van in front of 1007 Beech St. The owner said $60 was missing from it. A witness said a male wearing a leg brace locked the vehicle with a remote and left.

•Burglary. Someone broke into a house in the 600 block of Countyline Street between 10 p.m. and midnight Wednesday and stole numerous pieces of copper pipe, connectors and faucets.

•Theft. Two catalytic converters were stolen from cars parked in the lot of Cascade Auto Sales, 4031⁄2 Cascade St., between 9:15 a.m. Thursday and 10:30 a.m. Friday.

•Theft. A purse was stolen from the front porch of a house on Mahoning Avenue around 3:30 p.m. Saturday while the owner was a taking her dog outside.

•Theft. Fifty dollars was stolen from the purse of a woman who had given a man a ride to a local motel on Saturday. She did not know the man’s identity.

•Burglary. Electronic games and a television were stolen from an apartment in the 300 block of Halco Drive between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m. Sunday.

•Burglary. A wrist watch, two antique dimes and a Bible were stolen from a house in the 200 block of North Vine Street between 8 a.m. Jan. 2 and 9 a.m. Sunday.
