Man wanted in gun incident

NEW CASTLE — A Neshannock Township man is being sought on assault-related charges.

New Castle police said Michael Francis Abbinanti, 24, of 3019 Mercer Road, is accused of pulling out a pistol and pointing it at a man at a home on Croton Avenue around 12:30 a.m. Sunday.

According to police, the man said Abbinanti, who had been arguing with his daughter upstairs, told him, “You want some of this?”

He told police he felt Abbinanti had been threatening to shoot him.

The man’s daughter told police Abbinanti had smacked her numerous times in the head and punched her in the face. The gun, which belonged to the daughter, was registered as stolen after the woman told police Abbinanti had taken it without her permission.

Abbinanti is charged with two counts each of aggravated and simple assault, recklessly endangering another person and harassment, and one count each of theft, terroristic threats and simple assault.

A warrant has been issued for his arrest.

On Wednesday, the House of Representatives voted to authorize Speaker John Boehner to sue President Obama for allegedly overstepping his legal authority with the way he's handled Obamacare. Good call?

Yes. Obama's been overstepping his authority since day one in office. It's time he pay the piper.
No. The allegations are ridiculous and the law suit is a waste of time and tax payer money.
I don't know. I'm not a huge fan of Obama, but the suit seems a little extreme.
