New Castle police have charged Cody J. Zachrich, 23, of Apt. B, 743 Butler Ave., and Bret Michael Beck, 21, of 722 Court St. in connection with the destruction.

Police said the incident occurred around 1:30 a.m. Aug. 20 at the station located at the corner of Croton Avenue and East Washington Street.

Surveillance video shows the two suspects entering the area and breaking six windows, damaging the video camera, and breaking a wooden gate, police said.

Police lifted fingerprints from the windows and the parking gate.

Both men face counts of criminal mischief and disorderly conduct and were sent summonses to appear in court.
