•Theft. A white and pink girl’s bicycle was reported stolen from a property in the 800 block of Wilmington Avenue between Aug. 13 and 15.
•Burglary. About 300 feet of copper pipe was reported stolen from inside the basement of a house in the 700 block of Young Street on Aug. 13 or 14.
•Burglary. Copper pipe was reported stolen from a house in the 1600 block of Pennsylvania Avenue on Aug.15.
•Criminal mischief. Someone damaged the headlights and tail lights, windows, front grill and body of a truck parked in the 700 block of Croton Avenue around 1 a.m. Aug. 10.
•Theft. Four tires were reported stolen from a car parked at Ron’s Auto Sales on Montgomery Avenue between Aug. 10 and 11.
•Attempted burglary. Someone tried to break into a home in the 500 block of Pearson Street around 11 a.m. Friday.
•Theft. A Nikon DSLR camera was reported stolen from an apartment in the Britton Hill projects Friday or Saturday.
•Burglary. A silver can with an unknown amount of coins was reported stolen from a house in the 1700 block of Morris Street between Aug. 14 and Saturday.
•Accident. A six-foot section of fence was damaged in a one-vehicle accident at 9:15 p.m. Saturday in the 300 block of East Lincoln Avenue. David Scott Ingram, 42, of 206 Audley Ave., the driver, said he was in a parking lot when he accidentally hit the accelerator pedal instead of the brake and hit the fence, according to police. No injuries were reported.
•Accident. Joshua Lee Allen, 26, of Pulaski was driving a pickup truck east on Croton Avenue and hit a utility pole while trying to maneuver around another vehicle around 12:42 a.m. Monday. Police impounded the truck because Allen did not have vehicle insurance.
•Theft. An electronic game system and a steam mop were reported stolen from a home in the 800 block of Lathrop Street between Aug. 14 and Friday.
•Theft. A yellow dirt bike was reported stolen from a front porch in the 200 block of Ashland Avenue overnight Sunday to Monday.
•Burglary. Wiring was damaged in a basement following a break-in reported July 25 at a home in the 200 block of West Cherry Street. Police found garden shears, a flashlight and a White Sox hat at the scene.

Coroner: Drowning victim's death was accidental
The death of a Slippery Rock Township woman pulled from a Scott Township lake Wednesday was due to drowning. Lawrence County Coroner Russell S. Noga said an autopsy on the body of Nancy Ellen List, 26, of 6074 Old Route 422 Extension indicated “death was consistent with a fresh water drowning.”
Man accused of leaving child alone outside
A man is facing charges for allegedly dropping off a 5-year-old and leaving her alone in her yard.
Latest Update: Rescuers reflect on woman’s drowning
The day ended tragically for a Slippery Rock Township couple who went fishing Tuesday on a private lake. The body of Nancy Ellen List, 26, of 6074 Old Route 422 Extension, was pulled from the lake at 2:25 p.m. yesterday following an all-day search.

Rescue units have recovered the body of a woman last seen last night when her boat capsized. Scott Township fire chief Jack Hitchen said divers recovered the body of Nancy Ellen List, 26, of 6074 Old Route 422 Extension about 2:25 p.m. today.

Fire destroys garage in North Beaver
A trash fire could have been the cause of a three-car garage fire Monday on McClain Road. Fire Chief Paul Henry of the North Beaver Township Volunteer Fire Department said firemen were called to Highland Meadows Farm in the 500 block of McClain Road at 9:05 p.m. They remained until about midnight.
