NEW CASTLE —
•Assault. Amanda Carney, 31, of 827 E. Washington St., and Maedell Lynn Keller, 44, of 817 E. Washington St., are charged with simple assault and harassment after they allegedly got into a fight in an alley behind the 800 block of East Washington Street March 29.
•Theft. A leather wallet containing $120 and a bank card was stolen from a car parked in the 900 block of Adams Street between 4:10 p.m. March 28 and 10:30 a.m. March 29.
•Criminal mischief. Four tires were slashed and the driver’s side fender keyed on a pickup truck parked in the 700 block of Sampson Street between 7 p.m. March 27 and 8 a.m. March 28.
•Hit-and-run. Someone hit a blue Hyundai parked in the 200 block of North Crawford Avenue between 6:30 p.m. March 29 and 10:30 a.m. Saturday and left.
•Shot fired. A gunshot was reported on East Washington Street around 4 a.m. Sunday. Police did not find anything.
•Theft. A GPS and a leather wallet were stolen from a car parked in an alley behind the 1600 block of East Washington Street between 10:30 p.m. March 28 and 4 p.m. March 29.
•Theft. A duffle bag containing workout clothing was stolen from a van parked behind 40 S. Mercer St. between 8 and 9 p.m. March 27.
•Burglary. Copper pipe was stolen from a house in the 1100 block of Dushane Street between Feb. 27 and March 27.
•Burglary. All eight water faucets and a brass water meter were stolen from a house in the 700 block of Cunningham Avenue March 26. The owner reported the shower surround also had been pulled out as if someone was looking for copper pipe.
•Burglary. Several pieces of copper pipe were stolen and a basement window broken at a house in the 800 block of Neshannock Boulevard between midnight March 28 and 8:30 a.m. March 29.

•Anton A. Moore, 41, of New Castle, charged by New Castle police with disorderly conduct and disorderly house.
New Castle’s code enforcement department charged the following people:
•Robert Lee Moore Jr., 48, of Harmony, sanitation of exterior properties violation.
•Tammy S. Nagle, 40, of New Castle, prohibited use violation, windows, skylights and door frames violation, exterior walls violation, gutters and downspouts violation, handrails and guards violation and accumulation of rubbish or garbage.

•James Elder Wright, 34, of Ellwood City, failure to have dog or cat vaccinated, failure to apply for dog license and failure to keep dog licensed.

•Brandy M. Yeany of Ellwood City, failure to have dog or cat vaccinated, failure to apply for dog license and failure to keep dog licensed.
•Jamar Antwan Wilson, 28, of New Castle, charged by New Castle police with five counts of manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver, three counts of intent to possess a controlled substance and two counts of criminal use of a communications facility.

Ray Street man charged in burglary
An East Side man has been arrested in connection with a Scott Street burglary. Mark Anthony Magusiak Jr., 23, of 613 S. Ray St., was charged with burglary and attempted theft. He is in the Lawrence County jail in lieu of $50,000 bond.
New Castle man jailed in drug case
A New Castle man facing 11 drug-related charges is being held on $25,000 bond. The charges against Theodore Trent McHenry, 20, of 919 Beckford St. followed a raid at his home last week.
City man charged with making threats
A New Castle man is facing charges that he threatened to harm a woman. City police arrested John A. Adamo, 34, of 211 E. Leasure Ave. after he allegedly tried to kick in the door of another Leasure Avenue home and threatened a woman inside Wednesday evening.
Drunk driving suspect tied to double fatal
A man charged with drunk driving in New Wilmington was the driver in a 2009 double-fatality crash. New Wilmington police said they learned Austin J. Ewers, 20, has a record that includes homicide by vehicle after they arrested him in the borough Nov. 24.
Second body this week found at Moraine
The body of a New Castle man was found at Moraine State Park. Jake Weiland, assistant park manager, said someone who had been boating and fishing from a kayak on Lake Arthur saw something on the shore at 10:30 a.m. Thursday and contacted park officials.

Council OKs agreement with DA’s office
New Castle City Council has approved an agreement that details city narcotics officers to the Lawrence County district attorney’s office.
Man jumps into Shenango River
New Castle police and fire departments were dispatched Wednesday morning after a man jumped into the Shenango River. Police were called at 11:35 a.m. and the fire department was notified about 10 minutes later.
Man facing drug charges
Charges filed against a city man stem from a July arrest, when police allegedly found him with marijuana. Dorian Allen Cullen, 31, of 209 E. Pearson St., is wanted for one count each of disorderly conduct, public drunkenness, criminal trespass, manufacture of a controlled substance and possession or distribution of a small amount of marijuana, and four counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.
