Local woman arrested in Youngstown

NEW CASTLE — A New Castle woman was arrested in a Youngstown park for allegedly buying and using heroin with her child present.

Youngstown authorities say Ashley Leonard, 24, of 1016 Dushane St. is charged child endangerment. Officers said she was with a New Springfield, Ohio, man who faces similar charges.

Police said the two were caught with hypodermic needles in a park off East Midlothian Boulevard. They said the couple and Leonard's 4-year-old child purchased suspected heroin at a Youngstown house. Police said afterwards they went to the park to inject the drug.

The child was turned over to Mahoning County Children Services.

Leonard is to appear in Youngstown court on the charges next month.

On Wednesday, the House of Representatives voted to authorize Speaker John Boehner to sue President Obama for allegedly overstepping his legal authority with the way he's handled Obamacare. Good call?

Yes. Obama's been overstepping his authority since day one in office. It's time he pay the piper.
No. The allegations are ridiculous and the law suit is a waste of time and tax payer money.
I don't know. I'm not a huge fan of Obama, but the suit seems a little extreme.
