A man being booked at the Lawrence County jail faces additional charges for fighting with and spitting on corrections officers.
New Castle police have charged Scott Anthony Kosior, 46, of 2688 Savannah Road with five counts each of aggravated harassment by prisoner and harassment.
Police said the Shenango Township police had arrested Kosior on a warrant and taken him to the jail’s booking area around 3:30 p.m. Feb. 4. Kosior was arraigned on the charges by District Judge Melissa A. Amodie, who set additional bail at $5,000.
Kosior was being admitted to the jail for charges filed against him Jan. 21 that included public drunkenness, loitering and prowling and night and resisting arrest. His bond for those alleged offenses had been set at $1,000.
