Man wanted for alleged armed robbery

NEW CASTLE — A West Side man is wanted in connection with an armed robbery on the city’s South Side.

A warrant has been issued for his arrest of Kevin Demetrius Taylor, 21, of 348 Halco Drive, in connection with the incident.

New Castle police yesterday filed charges of robbery, terroristic threats, theft, receiving stolen property, carrying a gun without a license, recklessly endangering another person and harassment against Taylor.

Police were contacted by a man claiming to have been robbed while walking in the 400 block of Galbreath Street around 2:10 p.m. Dec. 15.

He said a white minivan stopped next to him. The driver, later identified as Taylor, and a passenger exited the van  and asked the man if he had broken into his house, then pointed a black semiautomatic handgun at him.

The victim said he ran toward his house with Taylor and the other man following him. He said he dropped his cell phone and saw Taylor pick it up and say “Come and get it.” He said Taylor then threatened to kill him and his entire family.

A witness told police she heard Taylor make the statements and saw the gun and the two men as the victim approached his porch.

Police said the victim identified Taylor from a photo lineup.

On Wednesday, the House of Representatives voted to authorize Speaker John Boehner to sue President Obama for allegedly overstepping his legal authority with the way he's handled Obamacare. Good call?

Yes. Obama's been overstepping his authority since day one in office. It's time he pay the piper.
No. The allegations are ridiculous and the law suit is a waste of time and tax payer money.
I don't know. I'm not a huge fan of Obama, but the suit seems a little extreme.
