He then took $40 of the victim’s  money, according to reports.

District Judge Melissa A. Amodie has issued a warrant to arrest Daryl Dabney, 46, of 209 Crawford Ave., in connection with the incident, which allegedly occurred around 10:30 p.m. on Jan. 10.

New Castle police are charging Dabney with aggravated assault, robbery, illegal possession of a firearm, carrying a firearm without a license, terroristic threats, recklessly endangering another person, simple assault, theft and harassment.

Police yesterday said a man reported that he was assaulted. He told officers he was at a  woman’s house and she accused him of taking money from her. He said he denied that but said as he started to leave Dabney entered the room and pointed a semi-automatic pistol at his leg and threatened to kill him then pressed the gun to his head.

The victim said Dabney demanded that he empty his pockets and struck him in the face with the gun when he did not comply. The victim told police he took $40 from his pocket gave it to Dabney and left the house.
