Police confiscate guns

NEW CASTLE — New Castle police said they found three guns in a vehicle of a man they had stopped for an alleged theft.

Officers arrested Neil Patrick Terrill, 54, of 1141 11th St., West Pittsburg, around 9:50 p.m. July 2 after a woman had told them Terrill had stolen money from her.

The woman flagged down officers to report the alleged theft and said Terrill had a gun with him, according to police. She said later she did not want to proceed with charges against him.

Officers pulled over Terrill’s truck on Union Valley Road and ordered him out of the vehicle at gunpoint. He advised them he had a gun in the console, police said, and reported he was uncooperative, argumentative and failed to comply with their orders, so they handcuffed him.

Police said he was taken to Jameson Hospital for a blood alcohol test.

Officers said they confiscated three handguns and a hunting knife from Terrill’s truck.

He is charged with two counts of driving under the influence and disorderly conduct.

District Judge Jennifer L. Nicholson set his bond at $1,000.

On Wednesday, the House of Representatives voted to authorize Speaker John Boehner to sue President Obama for allegedly overstepping his legal authority with the way he's handled Obamacare. Good call?

Yes. Obama's been overstepping his authority since day one in office. It's time he pay the piper.
No. The allegations are ridiculous and the law suit is a waste of time and tax payer money.
I don't know. I'm not a huge fan of Obama, but the suit seems a little extreme.
