Woman charged with prostitution

NEW CASTLE — An East Side woman has been arrested for allegedly offering a plainclothes policeman sexual favors for money.

New Castle police charged Ginette Marie Daviduk, 42, of 1605 Huron Ave. with prostitution Wednesday. The officer reported she had offered to charge him $25 in exchange for certain acts.

The officer reported he had been driving an unmarked police car in the area of East Washington and Allen streets around 12:05 a.m. Sunday when he saw Daviduk standing outside a bar and she approached his car.
