Woman reports 25 guns stolen — a year and a half ago

NEW CASTLE — New Castle police are investigating the reported theft of approximately 25 guns.

However, the victim told officers the guns had been taken about a year and a half ago and she is unsure about the specifics of many of them.

According to police, the victim said the weapons had been taken from her former home in the 700 block of Neshannock Avenue. She said she did not report the thefts as the time because she had “a lot of things going on.”

The woman told officers she decided to contact them now because of recent shootings in the city and the fear that one of her weapons might be used in a crime.

The victim offered details on only three of the guns, a Colt .45, a Smith & Wesson .45 and a Kimber 1911.

Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 fell from the sky in Donetsk, Ukraine, on Thursday, killing all 298 people aboard. Many are speculating that Russian rebels (supported by Vladimir Putin) are responsible for downing the aircraft. What do you think?

Yes. All evidence points that way.
No. Everyone is so quick to point fingers, but there's not enough evidence to support claims of Russian guilt.
I'm not sure. I'll just wait until the investigation is over to make up my mind.
What is up with these Malaysian Airlines planes? I know one airline I won't be flying any time soon...
