Man accused of fondling teen

NEW CASTLE — A Lawrence County man is facing indecent assault charges involving a 16-year-old female.

Shenango Township police filed charges against David Michael Fritch, 47, of Copper Road in connection with an alleged incident Jan. 18.

According to police, the victim said she had been in a vehicle with Fritch, traveling along New Butler Road, and he fondled her.

Officers said Fritch had been interviewed about the incident at the township police station and he made statements acknowledging the assault.

Charges of indecent assault, corruption of minors and harassment were filed in the office of District Judge David Rishel, police said. A preliminary hearing has not been scheduled.
