NEW CASTLE —
Charges continue to mount against a Neshannock Township man accused of burglarizing several North Hill homes last month.
Christopher M. Pagley, 28, of 316 Lake Drive, is accused of burglarizing Salzano Landscape Supply at 1022 Croton Ave. the morning of Oct. 3. New Castle police charged him in connection with that Monday.
The company owner reported a burlap sack, an antique check-writing machine, a GPS unit and a hatchet missing following the break-in.
Police had recovered the items the morning of Oct. 3 in the 1100 block of Federal Street and Salzano’s owner contacted them to claim them. Police also matched Pagley’s shoe, seized in a previous arrest, with a footprint that was left at the door of Salzano Landscape.
Pagley faces one count each of burglary and theft in connection with that alleged break-in. He had not yet been arraigned Monday afternoon.
Police allegedly caught Pagley burglarizing a North Hill home last month, and connected him and suspected co-conspirator, 28-year-old William Ronald Fry of 122 E. Wallace Ave. and 228 E. Laurel Blvd., with other burglaries and a robbery at Little Caesars Pizza on Wilmington Avenue.
Pagley’s bonds for the charges filed last month total $225,000. He remains in the Lawrence County jail, pending a Nov. 15 preliminary hearing.
