NEW CASTLE —
•Burglary. Cash was reported missing from a house in the 400 block of East Division Street between 3 p.m. and 5:45 p.m. Saturday.
•Accident. Police said Kaleena C. Lyles, 25, of New Castle was driving south on Route 18 in Wampum around 10:30 a.m. Oct. 3 and as she tried to turn onto Clyde Street, her car was hit by a car driven by John R. Powell, 69, of Wampum. Police said Powell ran the stop sign. Lyles was taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown, according to police. Powell was not injured. He will be cited. Officers said both were wearing seatbelts. The Wampum Volunteer Fire Department assisted at the scene.
•Accident. Police said Ashley Sauer, 27, of Ellwood City was driving south on River Road in Wayne Township at 8 a.m. Saturday and she swerved to avoid a deer. Her car spun on the gravel berm, hit shrubbery and tree debris, then flipped and landed right-side up. Police said Sauer was treated at Ellwood City Hospital.
•Burglary. Various items were reported stolen from a house on South Boulevard in North Beaver Township on Oct. 2.
•Burglary. Cash and medications were reported missing from a Young Road house in Slippery Rock Township between Sept. 7.
•Burglary. Someone broke into a house on Copper Road, Slippery Rock Township on Sept. 20, police said.
•Burglary. Various items were reported stolen from a shed on Route 422 in Mahoning Township on Sept. 22.
•Criminal mischief. Police said someone wrote in permanent marker on the front door of an Edinburg Road house on Oct. 3.
•Accident. Police said Erin Ashley Bell, 27, of West Pittsburg, realizing that she was on the entrance to toll Route 376, at 1:50 a.m. on Oct. 6 veered abruptly and hit a wooden post. Police said her car slid across both lanes and into the grass median. Officers said charges are pending.
•Hit-and-run. Police said a vehicle traveling on West Poland Avenue hit a utility pole around 5:30 a.m. on Oct. 4 as it turned onto State Line Road in North Beaver Township. OThe pole broke and fell into the intersection and the driver fled without reporting the crash, police said. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at (724) 598-2211.
