Police say man pulled gun on family member

NEW CASTLE — A Mahoningtown man is wanted for allegedly pulling a gun on a family member.

New Castle police have charged Imran Chaudhary, 19, of 225 S. Ashland Ave. with carrying a concealed firearm without a license, terroristic threats and simple assault.

Police said he allegedly pulled a semi-automatic handgun from the back of his pants and pointed it at a family member and threatened, “I can shoot you anytime I want.”

The incident allegedly occurred around 8:15 p.m. Tuesday at Chaudhary’s home. He reportedly left the house afteran argument and police could not find him.

A warrant has been issued for his arrest.
