New Castle man dies in accident

NEW CASTLE — A New Castle man was killed in a Beaver County truck accident Monday.

State police from the Gibsonia station reported that Wallace A. Brown, 67, of New Castle was killed when the cement truck he had been driving crashed at an entrance ramp to I-376 in Big Beaver Borough.

Police said the accident occurred when the truck went through a guard rail, then went over a hillside. The truck belongs to Castle Builders Supply in New Castle.

Brown died at the scene.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash. Police indicated a blown tire on the truck may have led to the accident.

An autopsy was to be performed on Brown.

Georgia Gov. Nathan Deal signed “unprecedented” legislation yesterday to expand gun rights in his state. Good idea?

Yes. Expanding the scope of where people can carry guns can help halt violent crimes and make those places safer.
No. Carrying guns into bars and schools is NEVER a good idea. I think it will lead to more violence.
Not sure, but I don’t plan to visit Georgia any time soon.
