Police seek missing man

NEW CASTLE — New Castle police are seeking a missing man and asking for the community’s help to locate him.

New Castle Police Chief Bobby Salem said Chris Story, 40, was reported missing by his family. Salem said some of his officers had joined with friends and neighbors when a search party was formed earlier this week.

Salem noted family members are concerned Story may be off his medication and could be confused.

Story is described as 6-feet-1-inch tall, 160 pounds with blue eyes.

When last seen, about 4 p.m. Monday in Mahoningtown, he was wearing black shorts, a white T-shirt and a baseball cap.

His address was given as 218 S. Cedar St. and 411 Park Ave.

Anyone who has seen him is asked to contact police at (724) 656-9300.

Georgia Gov. Nathan Deal signed “unprecedented” legislation yesterday to expand gun rights in his state. Good idea?

Yes. Expanding the scope of where people can carry guns can help halt violent crimes and make those places safer.
No. Carrying guns into bars and schools is NEVER a good idea. I think it will lead to more violence.
Not sure, but I don’t plan to visit Georgia any time soon.
