Neshannock man jailed following disturbance

NEW CASTLE — A man who caused a disturbance Thursday at the Social Security office in Neshannock Township has been jailed.

Robert Leasure, 55, of 192 Cathcart Drive, was charged with defiant trespass and two counts of disorderly conduct. He was arraigned before District Judge Scott McGrath and jailed in lieu of $2,500 bond.

Neshannock Township police, called to the Social Security office at Calls Plaza about noon on Thursday, said Leasure was inside the office causing a disturbance, and that he ignored requests by the security officer to leave the building.

Officers had to physically remove him from the building.
