NEW CASTLE —
A Shenango Township man is facing multiple sex charges in a case involving a 14-year-old girl.
Christopher Allen Falen, 28, of 2684 Savannah Road is charged by Shenango Township police with attempted rape and attempted sexual assault.
The charges stem from an alleged incident at Falen’s home Oct. 14. That is where, the victim told authorities, Falen had groped her and propositioned her, offering her money in exchange for sex.
The victim described to officials how she repeatedly told Falen no and physically blocked his advances. The criminal complaint filed against Falen states the victim had nine different bruises on her body that she attributed to the incident.
According to the complaint, the victim described receiving “weird” and “flirty” text message from Falen prior to the incident. And the day of the incident, she said, he gave her what she described as moonshine liquor. After drinking it, she said, she had difficulty walking.
In addition to the attempted rape and attempted sexual assault charges, Falen also is facing two counts of corruption of a minor and one count each of promoting prostitution of a minor, false imprisonment of a minor, unlawful contact with a minor, indecent assault with forcible compulsion, indecent assault without consent, indecent assault of a person under 16 and furnishing alcohol to a minor.
Court records show Falen has not been arraigned and no preliminary hearing has been scheduled.
