NEW CASTLE —
Geotechnical research for a bridge replacement project on Second Street in Ellwood City begins today, weather permitting.
Crews from Test Boring Services Inc. will be conducting the work for a proposed project to replace the bridge that carries Route 65 over railroad tracks between Pittsburgh Circle Road and Crescent Avenue.
Single-lane alternating use traffic will occur as needed from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays through late December. The bridge will remain open at all times while work is occurring.
Motorists are advised to use caution and expect delays.
