NEW CASTLE —
The Pulaski auditors will meet at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the township building.
By law, the annual meeting was supposed to have taken place the day after the Jan. 6 township re-organizational meeting. However, it was delayed because of a disagreement between two of the auditors and the township supervisors.
Auditors Dan Abramson and Bruce Clingan said they couldn’t make the 7 p.m. Jan. 7 time that the supervisors had advertised for the meeting and wanted the meeting to take place at 1 p.m. Jan. 7. The two said they had not been consulted before the meeting time was set.
However, the supervisors responded the meeting already had been advertised and that if it were changed, the two would have to pay for a new ad and reimburse the township for the one that had run.
Abramson said Monday he had been notified the township will pay to advertise Wednesday’s meeting.
