NEW CASTLE —
The Republican candidate for state House in the 9th District has been called to active duty in the National Guard.
As a result, Jason Murtha has turned his campaign activities over to his committee and canceled all town hall meetings scheduled for this week.
Murtha has been ordered to duty to respond to the arrival of Hurricane Sandy. He is a helicopter rescue pilot with the National Guard.
