Robert S. McKimm, 91, of Boardman died Monday, Dec. 24, 2007, in Greenbriar Nursing Home, Boardman.

He was employed by Black & Decker as a foreman and retired in 1979.

Mr. McKimm was a veteran of the Army, serving from June 6, 1945, to Oct. 26, 1946.

He was a son of the late Barney and Grace St. Claire McKimm.

He married Marguerete M. Rougeux McKimm on July 5, 1939. She died Oct. 17, 1992.

He subsequently married Dorothy L. McKimm on March 11, 1994. She preceded him in death on Oct. 14, 2007.

He is survived by three daughters and one stepdaughter, Paul and Marie Sauer of Lancaster, James and Beverly McKimm of Farmington, N.M., Gary and Gail Kirchner of Mount Joy, Pa., and David and Kathy Atwell Pavlansky of North Lima, Ohio; a son, Raymond McKimm of Millersville, Pa.; two brothers, Earl McKimm and Merle McKimm, both of Randolph, N.Y.; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two wives; three brothers, Lloyd, William and Stanley McKimm; a stepbrother, Donald Summerson; and a stepsister, Lena Parshall.

Arrangements are being handled by the R. Cunningham Funeral Home, 2429 Wilmington Road, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow, Dec. 28, 2007, and 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, 2007. Funeral service will be at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, 2007. The Rev. Philip Farrell of St. Camillus Church will officiate. Burial will be in Castle View Memorial Gardens.

The New Castle Area Veterans Honor Guard will bestow military rites.
