Margaret George Miller, 89, of Rock Hill, S.C., died Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2007, at the home of her daughter.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Dec. 8 at Shenango Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Jim George, brother of Mrs. Miller, and the Rev. Amy Na officiating.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church.

A native of New Castle, Mrs. Miller was a daughter of the late Anthony and Alice Solomon George.

She was a member of Shenango Presbyterian Church and very active in her church and community.

She retired from Sears as a unit buying control manager with more than 25 years of service.

She is the widow of Luther Amos Miller.

Mrs. Miller is survived by her daughter, Susan Miller Heinsohn and her husband, Walt, of Rock Hill; her son, Douglas L. Miller and his wife, Lynn, of Winchester, Va.; her brothers, Tom George of Buffalo, N.Y., and Sam George, Jim George and Bob George, all of New Castle; seven grandchildren, Julie Greiner, Kinsey Miller, Valerie Heinsohn, Carrie Decker, John Heinsohn, Amy Heinsohn and Brooks Miller; and two great-grandsons, Owen Greiner and Gavin Decker.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Fred George and Mike George; and her sisters, Phoebe Farris and Joan Moses.
