Charles Henry Cyphert, 74, of Brenneman Road, Volant, died the morning of Nov. 25, 2007, in his home.

Born Aug. 3, 1933, in Volant, he was a son of the late Philip S. and Clara M. Reinsel Cyphert.

He retired from Shenango Penn Mold of Sharpsville.

Mr. Cyphert was a 1951 graduate of Wilmington High School.

He served in the Army during the Korean War.

Mr. Cyphert enjoyed race cars and classic sports cars.

He was a member of St. Camillus Church.

Survivors include two brothers, James F. Cyphert of New Wilmington and Philip J. Cyphert of New Castle; a sister, Margaret M. Cyphert of Indianapolis; and nieces and nephews.

Calling hours are 4 to 7 p.m. tomorrow at the Smith Funeral Home, 310 W. Neshannock Ave., New Wilmington.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday at St. Camillus Church. The Rev. Philip Farrell will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
