Services will be 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Wasko Funeral Home and 10 a.m. in St. Elizabeth Catholic Church for Anne V. Lukas Bartos, 78, of Villa Maria, formerly of Campbell, Ohio, who passed away the morning of Friday, Nov. 23, 2007, in Northside Medical Center, Youngstown.
Mrs. Bartos was born Feb. 20, 1929, in New Castle, a daughter of John P. and Anna M. Vargo Lukas.
She was a nurse at Northside Medical Center and had taught at St. Elizabeth School of Nursing.
She was a member of the church and the Catholic Nurses Association.
She was a 1947 graduate of New Castle High School, a graduate of the former St. Francis Hospital School of Nursing in New Castle, and a graduate of Youngstown State University with a bachelor of science degree.
Besides her husband, Thomas J. Bartos, whom she married Jan. 6, 1951, she is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Barbara Bartos of Boardman; a sister, Joan White of Tionesta, Pa.; a brother, Thomas J. Lukas of Tucson, Ariz.; a daughter-in-law, Debra Bartos of Crestview, Fla.; five grandchildren, Rebecca, Vikki, David, Michele and A.J.; and two great-grandchildren, Nick and Katie.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, James; and two brothers, John Lukas and Robert Lukas.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. tomorrow at the Wasko Funeral Home, 216 Coitsville Road, Campbell.
