Kenneth C. Cameron, 62, of 75 Lookout Court, Urbana, Ohio, formerly of New Castle, died the night of Nov. 19, 2007, in McAuley Nursing Home, Urbana.
Born Aug. 20, 1945, in New Castle, he was a son of Kenenth W. and Luella Minteer Cameron. His father preceded him in death. His mother survives in New Castle.
He married the former Donna Matteo on March 1, 1969. She survives.
Mr. Cameron was a counselor at Osterland Youth Facility and had been a millwright at Blair Strip Steel.
He attended Shenango High School and Clark State College.
Mr. Cameron was a member of the Bass Association and Big Brothers.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting and golfing.
Mr. Cameron was a member of the Church of Christ of Christian Union in Urbana.
In addition to his wife and mother, survivors include a daughter, Jennifer E. Swartzentruber of Columbus, Ohio; a brother, Robert R. Cameron of New Castle; and a sister, Deloris Quimby of New Castle.
Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home, 2429 Wilmington Road.
A service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. The Rev. Brian Hammond of Faith Country Chapel will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Hermon Cemetery.
