Mary Lou Andrews, 79, of Cape Coral, Fla., died Nov. 12, 2007, in Hope Hospice House in Cape Coral.

Born March 31, 1928, in New Castle, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Stella Brunton.

She was married to William G. Andrews for 57 years. He preceded her in death on March 8, 2006.

Mary Lou was an active volunteer in the New Castle community.

She was a graduate of New Castle High School, a past president of the Jameson Hospital Guild, past president of the Pennsylvania Association of Hospital Auxiliary, chapter chairwoman for the March of Dimes, past board member of Jameson Hospital, past board member of Legacy Country Club in Port St. Lucie, Fla., and a member of First Presbyterian Church.

Mary Lou is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Kirk and Marilou Andrews of Naples, Fla., and Jeff and Dawn Andrews of Cape Coral; and three grandchildren, Kristin, Christopher and Erich.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. today at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home, 2429 Wilmington Road. The Rev. Andrew Jillson will officiate. Entombment will be in Castle View Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.

The family would prefer memorial contributions be made to Hope Hospice, 9470 Health Park Circle, Fort Myers, Fla. 33908.
