Casimir S. Biedka

Casimir S. Biedka, 78, of New Castle died Tuesday, July 4, 2006, in St. John’s Specialty Care Center, Mars, Pa. Born Sept. 10, 1927, in New Castle, he was a son of the late John and Sophie Anton Biedka. Mr. Biedka was a Korean War Army veteran. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and gardener and was a former member of the Lawrence County Sportsman’s Association and Lawrence County Pistol Club. He is survived by his wife, Virginia H. Biedka, who he married Nov. 8, 1952; three sons, Charles Kevin Biedka and his wife, Jennifer Ann, of Lower Burrell, Pa., Mark John Biedka and his wife, Amy, of Harmony, and John Stephen Biedka and his wife, Jodi, of Minerva, Ohio; and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph and Max Biedka. Private family visitation, blessing service and burial with military honors will be held tomorrow.
