•Accident. Police said the unnamed 17-year-old driver of a 2005 Ford Explorer, westbound on Harlansburg Road, Hickory Township, at 3:39 a.m. Sunday, left the road striking a ditch, mailbox, tree and gas meter of a residence in the 1700 block of Harlansburg Road. Officers said the vehicle continued and came to rest down the road with disabling damage. Officers said the teenager was cited tor traffic violations.


•Scooter recovered. An abandoned scooter was recovered by township police about 4:30 p.m. Monday. Police said the owner may claim the vehicle by coming to the police department and identifying it. Anyone missing a scooter may contact the department at (724) 652-5203.

•Theft. Police said a black and red 2016 Apollo RFZ dirt bike with missing front rim spokes, was reported taken from a Walter Street residence sometime before 10:30 p.m. Monday. Anyone who has seen the bike or knows where it is is asked to contact Union Township police at (724) 652-5203.

New Castle police charged the following:

•Bryan Mark Trimble, 45, of New Castle, simple assault, disorderly conduct and harassment.

•Sierra Nicole Madison, 29, of New Castle, intent to possess a controlled substance, possession of marijuana-small amount for personal use, driving while operating privileges suspended or revoked, restrictions on alcoholic beverages violation and not yielding at roadway.

•Krystal M. Chambers, 31, of Ellwood City, intent to possess a controlled substance, distributing a small amount of marijuana-not for sale and use/possession of drug paraphernalia.

•Treyshawn Lamont Littles, 20, of New Castle, receiving stolen property.

•Josiah Wallace Beck, 40, of Pittsburgh, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness and similar misconduct.


•Kevin W. Davenport Sr., 25, of Redford County, Mich., charged by state police with manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver and intent to possess a controlled substance.

Ellwood City police charged the following:

•Thomas D. Robertson, 63, of Ellwood City, public drunkenness and similar misconduct.

•William M. Donahoe, 59, of Ellwood City, public drunkenness and similar misconduct.

•Michael J. Campbell, 43, of Ellwood City, criminal mischief and harassment.

•Peter Delboverland II, 48, of Ellwood City, theft by deception and bad checks.


•Matthew James Kearney, 35, of New Castle, charged by state police with two counts of driving under the influence and one count each of operating vehicle without required insurance and exceeding the speed limit.
