NEW CASTLE

•Burglary. Someone stole an entire air conditioning system and furnace with inside hardware from a house in the 900 block of Emery Street between Oct. 20 and 27.

•Theft. Various cards and a key were stolen from a car parked in the 100 block of East Moody Avenue between 2 and 9 a.m. Sunday.

•Burglary. Two televisions were reported stolen from an apartment on Parkwood Court between Nov. 4 and 6.

•Burglary. Power tools were reported stolen from a house in the 900 block of Harrison Street between Oct. 22 and 23. 

•Burglary. About 300 feet of copper pipe was reported stolen from a house in the 100 block of South Cedar Street in Mahoningtown between Sept. 3 and Nov. 6.

•Burglary. A purse and a silver safe were reported missing from a house in the 600 block of Superior Street overnight Friday to Saturday.

•Burglary. Two people were arrested for allegedly breaking into a garage in the 900 block Maryland Avenue around 1:18 a.m. Tuesday. Diana M. Lidey, 32, and Sean Scott O’Brien, 31, both of 1212 Cunningham Ave., were arrested there and are facing charges of burglary, criminal trespass, possessing instruments of crime and loitering and prowling at night. 

•Burglary. A door frame and plastic blinds were damaged at a house in the 200 block of East Leasure Avenue on Nov. 9. Donte Blackshear, 19, of 1408 E. Washington St. was arrested in connection with a related assault and for allegedly showing a gun and making threats. He is charged with burglary, carrying a gun without a license, terroristic threats, simple assaults and harassment.

•Burglary. A glass door window of the Beanery Depot at 312 N. Liberty St. was shattered around 7:20 p.m. Sept. 10. A quantity of quarters was reported stolen and an electronic game was damaged. 

•Burglary. Three televisions were reported stolen from a house in the 700 block of Cunningham Avenue between 2:30 p.m. Nov. 9 and 12:21 a.m. Friday.

•Theft. A 9 millimeter handgun was reported stolen from a vehicle parked in the 400 block of Fern Street overnight Sunday to Monday. 

•Theft. A black 2016 Nissan Altima was reported stolen from the 500 block of Wildwood Avenue between Nov. 8 and Saturday. The police reported that the vehicle registration had been run by the Buffalo, New York, police department on Saturday morning but no other information was available.

•Theft. A wallet containing miscellaneous cards was reported stolen from a car in the 1200 block of Finch Street on Saturday afternoon.

•Theft. Two aluminum wheels and tires were reported stolen from a flatbed trailer in the 100 block of South Atlantic Avenue in Mahoningtown on Nov. 9.

New Castle police charged the following:

•Rick Taylor Burkes II, 22, of New Castle, receiving stolen property, possession of firearm prohibited, firearms not to be carried without a license, making repairs/selling offensive weapons, flight to avoid apprehension, trial or punishment and use/possession of drug paraphernalia.

•James George Fedor, 27, of New Castle, two counts of driving under the influence and one count of failure to stop at red signal.

•Hannah White, 31, of New Castle, access device fraud, theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property.

•Mark A. Staph, 36, of New Castle, driving under the influence and endangering the welfare of children.
