NEW CASTLE —
Anna Pascarella has announced she will be a candidate for re-election to the New Castle Area School Board.
Pascarella, manager of support services at Youngstown State University, is seeking her second four-year term.
She plans to run on both Republican and Democratic ballots in the May 21 primary.

New Castle offering summer school
The New Castle school board approved plans for summer school classes. The district will offer summer school to children in kindergarten through third grade with a $10,000 grant the district received from the Hoyt, Carolyn Knox and Community foundations.
