WPIAL Playoffs: If you’re heading to ‘Canes game Saturday — better read this

NEW CASTLE —  If you plan on spending the day at the Ambridge field house tomorrow, be prepared to buy an additional ticket.

Ambridge athletic officials notified New Castle High athletic director Sam Flora yesterday that they will not be stamping any fans who come into the gym tomorrow. And, the possibility exists that they may clear the gym before New Castle plays Bethel Park at 3 p.m.

So any fans that arrive to watch the noon game between Neshannock and Beaver Falls are advised that, if they leave the gym and go outside at any time, they will have to buy another ticket to get back inside.

The possibility also exists that fans planning to stay to watch both boys games at the site may have to purchase another ticket, regardless. Ambridge officials will determine tomorrow whether or not to clear the gym of all spectators after the Neshannock-Beaver Falls game. If they do, those interested in watching the New Castle vs. Bethel Park game will have to go outside and purchase another ticket to come back into the gym.

Adding to the busy day — there is a third game at the site at 1:30 p.m. when the Quigley girls battle St. Joseph.

Ambridge’s field house seats approximately 2,400 — roughly the same as New Castle’s facility.

Do you talk to yourself when you're alone?

Yes, but I’m basically just thinking out loud.
No, that would be weird.
I don’t know. Next time I’m alone, I’ll ask.
