Neshannock Schools: Father concerned after alleged assault

NEW CASTLE — The father of a student allegedly assaulted on field trip asked Neshannock school officials to ensure kids’ safety.

“I’m not here to discuss what happened,” he said last night, “only to say that I’m concerned for all students.

“I’m not looking for answers. I just want to speak out and say that I hope this never happens to anyone ever again.”

Neshannock Township police are investigating a possible assault of a student by other students on an overnight bus trip to New York City at the end of April.

The father said police tell him the investigation is winding down and could be completed soon.

Dr. Mary Todora, superintendent, said she could not comment on the alleged incident.

Nah, it's probably not that interesting.
I don't know. I'm afraid of what I might find out.
