PIAA Playoffs: Neshannock must travel far for Thursday's matchup

NEW CASTLE — The News has learned that the Neshannock softball team will face Claysburg-Kimmel at 12:30 p.m. Thursday in Everett.

The game's site is a three-hour drive for the Lady Lancers — and just 35 minutes for their opponent.

Once the second-round playoff matchup is over, Neshannock will have to race back to town since commencement is 7 p.m. Thursday.
