An Ellwood City man accused of molesting an 8-year-old girl has waived charges to Lawrence County court.
Union Township police last week charged Michael D. Partridge, 33, of 101 Woodrow Drive, Ellwood City, with aggravated indecent assault of a child, unlawful contact with a minor, indecent assault, terroristic threats and disorderly conduct.
He remains in the Lawrence County jail on $100,000 bond.
Police said that between April and August 2006, Partridge had alleged contact with a young girl who was 8 years old at the time.
Officers said the girl told her mother of the alleged inappropriate conduct on Jan. 9 and repeated the information to Lawrence County Children and Youth Services three days later.
