Home invasion suspect arrested
A suspect in a Beaver County home invasion was arrested Monday in Wampum.
According to state police, Danny Wayne Joslin, 33, of New Galilee was wanted in connection with an incident that took place at the home of an Aliquippa woman. He was spotted by police traveling south on Route 18, driving a 1979 Cadillac that allegedly had been stolen from the victim.
Joslin apparently saw the police as well, and turned immediately into the lawn at 1501 Allen Court, Wampum, after which he fled on foot, police said. Following a brief pursuit, he was taken into custody.
Joslin was arraigned on charges of receiving stolen property, driving while operating privilege is suspended or revoked and trespass by motor vehicle. He was placed in the Lawrence County jail in lieu of $50,000 bond.
