An man observed with a gun outside the Veterans Memorial Swimming Pool in Ellwood has been arrested.
Ellwood City police said Knowledgeborn Price, 32, of 1412 Fifth Street, Beaver Falls, was arrested at 1 p.m. Aug. 7 outside the pool.
He was arraigned before District Judge Jerry Cartwright on charges of illegal possession of a firearm, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is in the Lawrence County jail on $10,000 bond.
Police also found that Price was wanted on an outstanding warrant from Beaver County.
When Price was arrested on Joffrey Street, officers said, they found a loaded .38-caliber handgun and suspected marijuana in his vehicle.
