Motorcycle crash victim flown to hospital


Police are investigating an early morning motorcycle accident on State Route 65 in Wayne Township.

According to Pennsylvania State Police, the accident happened prior to 3:51 a.m. today when troopers arrived at the scene.

The driver of the motorcycle is being identified as Joshua Charles Clyde, 28, whose address was not provided.

Clyde was transported by a STAT MEDEVAC helicopter, to Presbyterian Hospital.

The police report listed his injuries as serious.

Clyde was transported from the scene prior to the arrival of the troopers.

Police say it is not yet known which direction Clyde was going or what happened.

A Youngstown TV station was reporting that the accident occurred in the same area as the one-vehicle accident that happened late Wednesday night claiming the life of a 33-year-old male driver.

As of 7:30 a.m. this morning, Pennsylvania State Police said the identification of that driver, had not yet been released.
