The sensational season has ended for the New Castle High girls basketball team as the Lady 'Canes dropped a 68-67 decision to Indiana in a PIAA second-round playoff game Wednesday night. The contest was played at Butler High.
New Castle, which had defeated the Lady Little Indians 58-45 in the WPIAL playoffs on the way to a Class AAA title, finishes with an overall record of 22-4.
